Babcock is looking for a Maintenance Logistics Planner to join the Fleet Asset Management team based in Devonport, Auckland.

You understand complex assets, interpret maintenance data confidently, and enjoy improving spares strategies, planning inputs, and CMMS accuracy. You think long‑term, balancing cost, risk, safety, and availability to make sound decisions. Driven by curiosity and accuracy, you excel in collaborative environments and bring a structured, analytical mindset to enhancing asset readiness and supportability.
Key Required Skills
- ILS development and translation of maintenance requirements
- Maintenance planning and CMMS optimisation
- Spares analysis, forecasting, and inventory planning
- Asset Management Plan creation and sustainment support
- Lifecycle cost modelling and sustainment analysis
- Obsolescence and supply chain management
- Risk‑based asset management practices
- Interpretation of technical data (DRACAS, PIRs, drawings, CSIs)
Key Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in maintenance, asset planning, logistics, or sustainment
- Hands‑on experience with CMMS and spares modelling/forecasting tools
- Proven experience converting maintenance requirements into ILS and logistics outputs
