Integrated Workforce Planner

Babcock is looking for a Strategic Workforce Planner to join the Programme Controls team based in Devonport, Auckland.

 

About the role

 

Join us as a Strategic Workforce Planner and make a significant impact within a leading organization. You will ensure efficient labour resource allocation to meet contractual requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to develop and maintain an Integrated Workforce Plan aligned with business objectives.

As part of our dedicated team, you will

 

  • Conduct quarterly reviews and analyse resource demands.
  • Create comprehensive reports on labour utilization.
  • Lead annual integrated workforce planning activities.
  • Define and forecast resourcing requirements.
  • Manage internal and contractor resources, implementing direct labor cost controls, and participating in cost management and risk reporting in business planning processes.

 

About you

 

You are an experienced workforce planner with a proven track record in strategic planning, resource management, and forecasting. Your advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, P6, and Microsoft Project enables you to manage complex scheduling tasks. You excel in data analysis, interpreting data to make informed decisions, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy make you an invaluable asset to our team.

 

To be successful you will have

 

  • Proven experience in workforce planning, preferably in a contractual or program-based environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and leverage data to inform workforce decisions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Great accuracy and high attention to detail, ensuring meticulous planning and documentation.
