Babcock is looking for a Design Draughtsperson (Electrical) to join the Engineering Change team based in Devonport, Auckland.

Join a team at the forefront of naval engineering innovation. As an Electrical Draughtsperson, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the NZDF Naval Fleet. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering drawings that support critical change proposals, ensuring every detail meets rigorous standards for safety, accuracy, and compliance. Working across multiple projects, you’ll collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technical authorities to bring complex solutions to life.

You are a detail-driven draughtsperson with strong electrical design skills and a passion for precision. Your experience with CAD tools and engineering documentation ensures you deliver accurate, compliant drawings. You understand naval or defence systems and are confident navigating technical processes. You’re proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to contribute to national defence initiatives.
