The Quantity Surveyor is based within our Networks- Rail business area.

The role

The difference our new Quantity Surveyor will make


As a Quantity Surveyor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will develop and maintain client, supply chain and business function relationships, and ensure the core values of the Company are upheld at all times. 


Day to day, you’ll be the commercial contact on the project, responsible for contract admin, Lead in agreeing compensation events. Putting in and submitting payment to the clients and drafting subcontracts and supplier agreements and management, involved in tenders.

Essential experience

•    Degree in Quantity surveying, Maths, Law Business preferably MRICS or APM or ICM
•    We would like you to have proven Quantity Surveyor though not necessary in rail will also consider experience within the construction industry
•    You will need to be proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude
•    Extensive knowledge to be able to perform immediately
•    We would like you to have Practical NEC experience
•    Team player as part of a project team
•    You will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Strong communication skills
