Commercial Manager (Equipment Support)

About the role


Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to provide contract management and lead/support contract changes and growth opportunities specifically within Equipment Support but across the Defence Business Unit.


Main responsibilities include day to day contract management, leading negotiations with the Authority and leading changes on contractual documents. You will also be responsible for providing governance guidance to the business unit.


What do I need to do the role?


You will come from a commercial background in multi-disciplinary environments covering the contract life cycle.


You will have experience and / or knowledge of best practice governance processes and the ability to translate impact of negotiated terms on P&L and risk to delivery.


You will also demonstrate a proven track record of managing part or all of multi-million pound MOD contracts and dealing with Authority customers and of leading/supporting contractual changes.
