Aircraft Handler

RAF Cosford, Wolverhampton


About the role


Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit an Aircraft Handler to carry out Ground Handling/movement of Aircraft, Flight Line Operations including Check A maintenance. You will also provide Aircraft cleaning and general duties as required to meet or exceed customer expectations and contractual needs at all times.


Main responsibilities will include;           

  • To assist in the ground movement of aircraft.
  • To take part in Flight-line operations i.e. Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment
  • Once authorised, to carry out Check A maintenance on company owned aircraft
  • Pre-use checks and Scheduled Maintenance of Company owned Ground Support Equipment
  • To complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures
  • General duties as required, including, driving, stores duties, housekeeping etc., and other responsibilities as allocated by Management
  • To provide Support to other LAFT sites as required


What do I need to do the role?


You will have experience of handling aircrafts in a military or civilian EASA Pt 145 environment.


You will also have the ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required and a driving license is essential.
