About you
As a senior strategic and hands on HR leader, you will play a pivotal role in enabling business success. You know how to partner with executives, challenge thinking, and guide leaders toward decisions that are aligned, compliant, and built to last. Your strength lies in managing complex and sensitive matters with sound judgement and delivering HR outcomes that enhance capability, engagement, and overall performance.
About the role
In this critical leadership position, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering strategic and operational people plans that directly enable business performance. You’ll partner closely with executives, senior leaders, and HR peers to align people strategy with organisational objectives, drive workforce capability, and ensure consistent, compliant, and future‑focused decision‑making. Your work will influence culture, engagement, organisational design, and the successful delivery of change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategic and operational HR plans aligned to business objectives
- Oversee complex and/or high risk investigations
- Partner with executives and senior leaders to shape people strategy and workforce planning
- Provide expert advice on employment legislation, industrial instruments, and complex ER/IR matters
- Guide and coach people and leaders in applying people management practices across the full employee lifecycle
To be successful you will bring:
- Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance
- Proven ability to develop and determine HR strategy and direction
- Significant experience in HR project or change management and/or industrial relations.
- Exceptional people leadership experience within a complex global matrix organisation
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or an associated field (or extensive demonstrated relevant experience.)
