About the Role
Babcock is on the lookout for a dynamic Regional Supply Chain Operations Manager to drive procurement and supply chain excellence across the Australasian region. This role is at the heart of keeping daily operations seamless while shaping long-term strategic procurement initiatives.
Stepping into this position means taking ownership of contract formation, negotiation, and supplier management while providing expert guidance to internal teams. You'll develop category and contracting strategies to secure valuable, long-term agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring optimal performance across all programs. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing procurement processes, improving efficiencies, and minimising risks—all while maximising value for Babcock and its customers.

To be successful, you will bring:
- Australian Citizen with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
- Extensive experience in a large-scale senior leadership contract management or procurement roles.
- A current holder of MCIPS status qualification.
- Strong knowledge of contract terms and conditions and experience in negotiation of commercial contracts.
- Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Law or in any related discipline.
- Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement processes and policies and practical application of the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines would be advantageous.
