About our Role – Program Engineering Manager

 

Based at our state of the art facilities in Adelaide we are looking for someone to manage engineering projects and provides technical leadership and timely delivery of engineering artefacts, with limited guidance, to ensure relevant program objectives are successfully achieved. Engineering background in defence capability is preferred

 

About You

 

  • Lead the engineering team responsible for the delivery of design and/or sustainment engineering outputs, across the applicable engineering department or program.
  • Identify and define the scope, budget and timescales of tasks required to complete assigned work packages, including technical support to proposals and tenders.
  • Lead team members not permanently assigned to a contract in the delivery of engineering outcomes, including the mentoring of graduate engineers.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of information at formal reviews with customers
  • Ensure that the program engineering services are conducted in accordance with the relevant Engineering Management Plan and applicable technical regulatory framework.
  • Identify key areas of focus and co-develop strategies for the achievement of capability development, including structured learning/ training; tailored to the needs of the business, both current and future.
  • Provide the Engineering Capability Manger workforce planning/capability requirements applicable to the program requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS and associated technical legislation.  
  • Degree qualified engineer Membership of a relevant institution and hold Charted status with a desire for Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
  • Good Interpersonal skills and proven technical management skills.
