About the Role
Step into a pivotal role at Babcock, where precision meets purpose. We’re seeking an experienced and driven Manager, Accounts Payable, to guide our dynamic team to success.
In this full-spectrum role, you’ll be a key player in our Accounts Payable function—leading from the front with a strong in-person presence and a clear vision for process excellence. Your mission? To ensure our supplier payments are not only accurate and on time, but underpinned by robust financial controls that safeguard company assets. You’ll be responsible for accurate cost accounting through our Procurement to Pay processes and the trusted custodian of Babcock's online banking operations.
You'll bring structure and clarity to our reporting obligations, ensuring our business actions, management oversight, and statutory requirements are not just met—but exceeded. At the same time, you’ll invest in the growth of your team, developing talent and elevating capability across the board.

To be successful, you will bring:
- Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or similar.
- Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to lead a team.
- Previous experience in a high-risk industry is preferred (Defence, Construction, Aviation).
