About the Role

Are you ready to take your skills to a new level and become an essential part of our team supporting the Australian Defence Force? We're seeking expressions of interest for seasoned Diesel/Vehicle Mechanics to join our Ground Support Equipment Contract, and this isn’t just any trade job.

You'll be undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance on fleet assets, ensuring they are always mission-ready. Your expertise will be vital in performing condition-based maintenance and repair tasks on heavy equipment, vehicles, and ancillary gear, all in a highly controlled environment designed to meet operational demands.

To be successful, you will bring:
 

  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain Defence Security clearance.
  • Recognised trade certificate i.e. Heavy diesel mechanic, auto - electrical, refrigeration qualification.
  • Drivers Licence, Heavy Rigid or Heavy Combination.
  • Significant experience in a Heavy Equipment workshop and field service environment.
  • Experience and an understanding of condition monitoring principles and how they affect the fleet owning and operating costs.
