About the Role

Are you a communications expert with a flair for crafting high-impact messages? Join Babcock Australasia as our Internal Communications Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering internal communications strategies that resonate across our organisation.

 

In this dynamic role, you'll be the driving force behind creating compelling communications for our CEO and Executive Committee, steering key announcements, and spearheading people and culture transformation projects. Your expertise will support our growth ambitions and enhance our business brand and reputation in the region.
 

You'll develop and implement a strategic approach to internal communications, boosting employee engagement and ensuring alignment with our organisational goals. From improving communication channels to managing content on our digital platforms, your work will be crucial in ensuring our messaging is clear, concise, and impactful. You'll also collaborate closely with our Stakeholder Engagement and Reputation team and other key colleagues.

To be successful, you will bring:
 

  • Tertiary and/or other relevant post graduate qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related area.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrated track record in developing and managing aligned communications strategies, plans and platforms.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate key messages appropriately to a variety of audiences.
  • Previous experience in the Defence, national security or foreign affairs and trade sector (Desirable).
  • Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance.
