About the Role
 

At Babcock, we are passionate about developing our employees. Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking and enthusiastic IT Project Manager to join our high-performing IT Team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the effective delivery of business value through successful project delivery, focusing primarily on mobilisation-related initiatives.
 

You will lead project delivery on time and within budget, managing deviations and maintaining comprehensive documentation. As you direct team activities and track milestones, your leadership will be vital in adjusting plans and addressing challenges.
 

You'll oversee third-party suppliers, manage data privacy during migrations, and facilitate business change processes, including User Acceptance Testing and operational training. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to enhancing our IT Project Management processes.

To be successful, you will bring:
 

• Extensive Project Management experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of current IT technology.
• Experience of large-scale data migrations.
• Experience of procurement processes and holding third parties to contract.
• Infrastructure experience (Server Infrastructure, Firewalling and security, Networking – WAN and LAN, CISCO infrastructure – routers / switches).
• Microsoft Project expertise essential - Microsoft Project Server preferred.
• Agile experience with certification eg scrum master / AgilePM.
• PRINCE/APM or equivalent certification.
• Australian Citizenship with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
