About the Role

 

As a Human Resources Administrator at Babcock, you will be a vital member of our People Services team, responsible for supporting the implementation of our People Strategy across the business. This is a 12 month Fixed Term oppportunity, acting as the first point of contract for managers and employees, you will deliver high-quality service and provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operator of HR functions. You'll work closely with our HR Business Partnering team to assist in delivering a seamless employee experience through every stage of the employee life cycle. This includes issuing employment contracts, coordinating inductions, processing employee changes, and managing exits. Responsible for onboarding new employees efficiently, ensuring all documentation is accurately processed, conducting Hr inductions, and following up to maintain a consistent and engaging onboarding experience. Your role will also involve supporting our HR Centres of Expertise with calendar activities, projects and transformational initiatives that drive continuous improvement across the organisation. 

 

About you

 

You are a proactive and detail- orientated HR professional with a passion for providing exceptional support and service. Your expertise enables you to interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislation with confidence and accuracy. Your bring strong analytical and problem solving skills to your work and are confident in navigating complex issues with a calm, solution- focussed approach. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities makes you a reliable first point of contact for HR queries. A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or progress toward one, is desirable and your enthusiasm for contributing to a collaborative team environment is essential.
