Finance and Procurement Officer

About the Role

 

This position is central to ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant financial and procurement operations across H&B Defence's business. You will manage the full lifecycle of transactional finance and purchasing activity, from supplier onboarding and contract preparation to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily banking. The role requires a strong focus on internal controls, timely processing, and maintaining high-quality supplier and customer data.

You will support procurement strategy by analysing spend, identifying opportunities for aggregation, and creating dashboards that help leaders make informed decisions. You will also contribute to supplier relationship management and act as the subject matter expert for the procure‑to‑pay process. Your work will directly support budget accuracy, cashflow visibility, and the overall effectiveness of financial operations.

About You

 

You bring a strong foundation in finance and procurement, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You are confident working with supplier contracts, financial systems, and procurement processes, and you enjoy building constructive relationships with internal teams and external partners. Your analytical mindset helps you interpret data, identify trends, and present insights that support strategic decision-making.
