- Contribute directly to Defence security outcomes that protect Australia’s national interests.

About the Role
Babcock is continuing to grow across Australasia, and we’re inviting Expressions of Interest from Security professionals who want to be part of a strong, high‑performing team that plays a critical role in our mission to create a safe and secure world, together. As our Defence and critical services programs expand, we’re looking to build a pipeline of skilled people across Adelaide, Western Australia and Queensland who can help strengthen our security capability and support complex, nationally significant work.
We’re seeking Security Advisors, Senior Security Advisors and Security Leads with experience in Defence Security and a solid understanding of DISP requirements. Whether your strengths are in Governance, Personnel, Physical Security, or you’re an all‑rounder, there are opportunities to contribute to meaningful programs and work alongside a team known for its professionalism, collaboration and strong culture.
At the Advisor level, you’ll support day‑to‑day security administration, respond to staff queries and work across systems like JIRA and Compass. Senior Advisors take on broader program or site‑level responsibilities, including assurance activities, policy advice, procedure development and physical security accreditation. For those with deeper experience, our Security Lead opportunities involve guiding complex program issues, partnering directly with customers, shaping processes, driving improvements and leading or mentoring a team.
We’re particularly interested in people who hold, or are eligible to obtain, an NV2 clearance and who have completed the Defence Security Officer course, though we can be flexible for more junior roles. Most importantly, we’re looking for people who thrive in a supportive, high‑trust environment and who want to contribute to a security team that is respected across the organisation for its expertise and strong culture.
If you’re passionate about Defence Security and want to join a team that values professionalism, collaboration and continuous improvement, we’d welcome your expression of interest.
To be successful, you will bring
