About the Role

Are you ready to make a lasting impression? We are seeking a dynamic and professional receptionist to join our Corporate Reception team at Babcock’s Regional Support Centre for a 12-month contract. In this pivotal role, you'll be the first point of contact for our visitors, creating a welcoming and efficient environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.

 

As our receptionist, you will handle incoming calls, ensure smooth visitor management, and provide top-notch administrative support. Your friendly demeanour will shine as you greet customers, offer refreshments, and assist with meeting setups, making every visitor feel valued and appreciated.
 

You will play a vital role in coordinating meeting arrangements, managing supplies, and ensuring that our reception area and meeting rooms are always ready for action. Your attention to detail will be key in maintaining security protocols and managing correspondence.

To be successful, you will bring:
 

  • Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with all levels of management, as well as external agencies such as contractors and suppliers to achieve high levels of service.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and flexible approach to work.
  • High level computer skills and MS suite skills
  • Display a high level of maturity with the ability to work autonomously.
