About the Role

Are you passionate about providing top-notch operational support for software applications? Babcock Australasia is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic Business Solutions team. You will assist internal customers by resolving issues, enhancing system capabilities, and ensuring the seamless use of our ERP platforms and business applications.

Your key responsibilities include supporting systems, networks, and technologies, developing software enhancements, and implementing best practices. You will conduct reviews and investigations, offer advice and guidance to colleagues, and enhance system understanding and capabilities.

Additionally, you will plan and manage system integration, support business change, and provide ongoing support for all ERP applications. You will also produce and maintain operational, technical, and support documentation, support the collation of business requirements, and assist technical architects in the design process.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance;
  • Experience and/or understanding of development, administration, and configuration experience in a global enterprise environment within multiple domains    
  • Proven ability to work both autonomously and in teams, with internal and external stakeholders, successfully delivering project and operational outcomes. 
  • Experience providing technical support to multiple business sectors with a diverse application portfolio as well as understanding the business requirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with end-users at all levels of the organisation, as well as external vendors.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills that allow you to pull together multiple resources and tools to understand and resolve complex IT issues.
