B1.3 LAME - Adelaide

Reporting to the Base chief Engineer, as a key member of our Engineering team, you will be instrumental in supporting the maintenance of Babcock’s fleet of B412 and H145 helicopters. Based at Adelaide Airport, this is a fixed-base opportunity and will support the efforts of our Mission Critical Services at Babcock.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Carry out inspections and maintenance of B412 and H145 helicopters in a timely manner.
• Ensure maintenance documentation is completed accurately.
• Follow workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure safety compliance is adhered to.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Non type rated LAME’s will be on a Mon-Fri roster until you are B412 and or H145 licensed and experienced, training will be provided. B412 and/or H145 type rated, and experience LAME’s will be on an 8/6 roster.

About you

You are an experienced LAME with a positive attitude and willingness to learn! You are passionate about not only Aviation but wanting to take your career further within an evolving industry and company.  

Ideally, you will have the following experience and qualifications:

• CASA B1.3 LAME license (non-type rated can apply, training considered)
• B412 and/or H145 type rating (preferable)
• Demonstrated ability to manage aircraft equipment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to allow you to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• The ability to work as part of a team with flexibility, drive to achieve outcomes and a bright outlook.
