HR Advisor – Permanent


Here at Babcock International we’re looking for a HR Advisor to provide day to day operational HR support for Babcock Mission Critical Services (BMCS Offshore). You will also will provide support to the Payroll Manager and HR Business Partner for the Offshore business.

Your responsibilities will include providing guidance support to Line Managers in situations or organisational change, redundancy situations and with the disciplinary and grievance process. You will also be recurred to assist in the recruitment process which will involve the production of job descriptions and the distribution of vacancy notices. Your duties will include the production of employee contracts and service agreements along with the HR processes in relation to new employees to ensure they are fully integrated into the Company.

What do I need to do the job?

You’ll need:

  • To be a confident individual with proven communications skills, both verbally and in the written format.
  • Be approachable, diplomatic, rational and logical in their approach.
  • Be able to analyse a situation and respond with the appropriate level of emotion and humanity, whilst still remaining professional.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) – two of which must be at least a C grade in English and Mathematics.
  • Achieved Foundation CIPD qualification with a desire to or currently working towards Intermediate, Advanced CIPD qualification.
