About the role

Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for an experienced Contract Managed Commonwealth Assets (CMCA) Officer to join our Henderson based team. The CMCA Officer will work with the CMCA Coordinator to maintain the accuracy of contractor held GFE. This position is to conduct Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) transactions in accordance with the Electronic Supply Chain Manual (ESCM) and Conduct Stocktaking functions using MILIS per ESCM.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage data entry, investigation of past transactions and stocktaking functions, material expediting, discrepancy management and local site administration;
  • Developing, managing and maintaining Task Material Lists (TML);
  • Understand and comply with the ESCM;
  • Identify and report anomalies with MILIS transactions;
  • Comply with workplace equity policies; and
  • Conduct transactions relating to GFE held on WAMA Supply Customer Accounts and 3500 Warehouses in MILIS, per the ESCM.;
    • Issue and Receipting,
    • Credit Returns,
    • Inter-district Transfers,
    • Installs/Un-installs,
    • Stocktake Planning
    • Stocktake Recording
    • Raise MILIS demands
    • Disposal Processing


About you


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Logistics or warehouse operator experience;
  • Proven high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills;
  • Strong relationships management skills; and
  • Ability to manage responsibilities within tight time-frames.


  • Experience using the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS)
  • Prior experience in Defence sector

Essential Compliance Requirements

  • Must either hold, or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
