Project Engineer x2 (Electrical Control & Instrumentation)

About the role


Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit two Project Engineers with Electrical Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) bias to join our Fuel Route Improvement Team (FRIT) based at Hunterston B Power Station. You would be responsible for successful delivery of FRIT projects, which includes, but not limited to, production of engineering change proposals, engineering/procurement specifications, engineering drawings, method statements and commissioning/test schedules.


You will liaise with key stakeholders such as EDF system owners, operations, maintenance, suppliers and other site contractors.  Co-ordinate interactions between implementation team, designers, project personnel and the client to ensure the flow of relevant information.

What do I need to do the role?


You will hold a Degree in Electrical Engineering, alongside an ability to manage projects from low to high complexity, managing and leading diverse multi-disciplined teams.

You will have a wide range of high-level interpersonal skills, including but not limited to verbal/non-verbal communication, problem solving, decision-making, negotiation and time management. You will have experience of working in a Project Engineer role and experience of working on EDF Power Stations or in the nuclear environment would be beneficial.


What else do I need to know?


Successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
