In this role, you will:


  • Be responsible for the Project Management of multiple Nuclear Engineering Services projects across the full spectrum of work, from feasibility studies to field support activities.
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with key Canadian nuclear customers, including, but not limited to, Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, Ontario Power Generation, Bruce Power, and the Nuclear Waste Management Organization
  • Support the Nuclear Business Development Director with capture activities, including supporting proposal generation.
  • Assist with the development of sub-contracts with Procurement Sub-Contract Managers in support of the assigned projects
  • Initiate, manage, and administer contracts including payments and change orders.
  • Maintain process compliance during project execution and advise supervisor if compliance cannot be achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with all working practices is maintained at all times within the project, paying particular attention to nuclear quality assurance requirements, corporate procedures, safety standards, and local project specific procedures as necessary
  • Ensure all Quality and Health & Safety standards are maintained and communicate Health and Safety issues as required


As our ideal candidate,


  • You have a recognized University degree or College diploma in Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • An engineering degree and PEng accreditation are significant assets.
  • You have seven (7) to nine (9) experience in successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders with budgets between $500K and $5M
  • You have recent, relevant work experience (within the past one (1) to three (3) years), ideally with CNL, OPG, Bruce, or NWMO.
  • Familiar with Bruce Power and/or OPG reporting requirements.
  • You have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in good standing with the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • You have a proven track record of delivering project results on difficult projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • You have demonstrated leadership abilities and willingness to take direct ownership of a team (Supervisory experience over staff of three (3) or more preferred)
  • You are capable of working professionally and objectively at a senior level, leading a project across multiple stakeholders, and providing a clear project management focus and communications
  • You are fully conversant in the use of Microsoft Products
  • You must be eligible for Canadian Nuclear Site Access
