About the role

Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are looking to recruit a Senior Engineer based on site at Douneray, Scotland. You will join a team that has vast experience in Nuclear Engineering and provide professionally competent specialist services to our many clients.


Using your experience as a Senior Engineer, you will be required to deliver and provide multi-discipline technical solutions on tasks and projects. This will be done through producing, reviewing, verifying and approving technical Scopes of Work, support development and assessing tender returns, then checking/assessing and/or approving the outputs.


You will work with the client on a daily basis supporting our ongoing bids and tenders, acting as technical lead you will provide articulate guidance to pre tender capture planning across highly complex proposals.


This is a highly rewarding position working within a market leading nuclear engineering organisation. We support UK and international nuclear power stations with a range of services and strive to be best in class across our various contracts.


What do I need to do the role?

• Qualified within an engineering or science discipline.
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding and appreciation of transverse engineering (Mechanical, ECI, Process, CS&A etc)
• Ability to produce, review, verify and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports.


What else do I need to know?


• Nuclear experience is not a necessity, applications from all engineering domains will be welcomed.
