EC&I Project Engineer

About the role:


Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are proud to be the UK’s leading supplier to the nuclear industry and a growing global force. We are looking to recruit an EC&I Project Engineer based at our site in Hartlepool to deliver allocated project work to support the fuel route department. This role is a chance to be involved in high level design strategy from concept to delivery and be a key member of the team, engaging suppliers and leading projects. This will require close collaboration with the client, other team members and contract partners


This is a highly rewarding position working within a market leading nuclear engineering organisation. We support UK and international nuclear power stations with a range of services and strive to be best in class across our various contracts.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Safely manage the delivery of assigned projects to improve reliability of the fuel route process while working collaboratively with other team members and station staff.
  • Produce Work Order Cards, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Quality plans, Construction Plans, Engineering Changes and other documentation required to deliver projects.
  • Ensure documentation, including drawings and records are kept and tracked as appropriate and are updated and closed out in full at the conclusion of projects.




  • Previous experience as a Project or EC&I Engineer
  • EDF experience (Desirable)

  • The role will be based at Hartlepool.
  • Permanent position with competitive annual salary, excellent benefits, bonus and potential overtime.
  • 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
