About the role
Job Purpose

The CS&A Technician will form a role within a design team undertaking Civil, Structural or Architectural design activities.  
The CS&A Technician applies knowledge to develop design solutions to a wide range of common or complex design situations & problems under limited technical supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
The role requires a good understanding of engineering and design practices as relevant to a design discipline including appropriate CAD skills, written and verbal communications skills, and an understanding of CDM and design for construction. The role also requires an understanding and ability to apply BIM principles and processes.
The role must be fully aware of and adhere to Health & Safety standards and be fully familiar with all authorised documentation, Good Practice Guides and ISO standards.
What do I need to do the role?

You will require an HNC minimum in a relevant discipline OR equivalent academic qualification alongside experience across the full lifecycle of design activities, knowledge of CAD tools and BIM processes, knowledge of General Engineering and Architectural Drawing Practice, excellent communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.
We would also like you to be a member of relevant institute or demonstrable experience
Minimum level of Qualifications to be verified
(*N.B. only qualifications essential to the requirements of the role need to be checked)
ONC/HNC/HND (or equivalent) OR BTEC National Certificate/Diploma (or equivalent) OR appropriate apprenticeship of specialisation
