In this role, you will:

Assist as required in the day-to day operations of Inventory Control for specialized and non-specialized aviation parts, materials and equipment required and utilized in the maintenance of aircraft operated in support of the Aviation sector. This includes, but is not limited to:

 

  • Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels, including expired parts and calibrated tools, using WinAir inventory software
  • Receive parts into stock using approved processes
  • Packaging and shipping parts and tools
  • Retrieve and deliver shipments and documents as needed
  • Deliver and return parts and material to and from the stores room and hangar
  • Provide support in the inventory count process
  • Prepare parts to be sent out to the bases
  • Delivery of parts to and from the bases
  • After hours on-call rotation during aircraft deployment
  • Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts
  • Report safety hazards or concerns noticed in the course of your duties through the Safety Management System (SMS) system
  • Maintain a clean and tidy department and work area through general housekeeping, reorganizing storage areas as needed and constructing or modifying storage racks as needed
  • Participate in all training needs as assigned including Human Factors, Ladder & Lifting, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods and others as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
