Technical Training Instructor

About the role

 

Here at Babcock International, we are looking to recruit a site based training instructor to deliver all aspects of induction and a range of other training events (including: First Aid, Overhead Crane Operation, Marshalling (Banksman)) as appropriate to their own specialist skills (additional training can be provided to achieve instructor level).

 

You will be the onsite focal for apprentices ensuring all complete their syllabus as per programme and to the required standard, and all resources required are kept in a safe and serviceable condition, to include inspection, calibration and replacement, where required.

 

The team consists of training professionals with various technical backgrounds. Responsibilities include working with courseware, developing training packages, as well as managing Health & Safety and Compliance.

 

What do I need to do the role?

 

You will hold Level 3 or equivalent qualification, backed up by experience in this role would be beneficial e.g. NVQ Assessor.

 

You will also possess good communication and influencing skills, and are willing to undertake a range of tasks, and travel to deliver distributed training across DSG main operating sites.

 

We are looking for a self-motivated, robust and resilient character with the ability to work under pressure.
