Material Planning Administrator - Fixed Term Contract

About the role


Here at Babcock International, we’re looking to recruit a Material Planner to be responsible for the supply and expediting of Consumable/Repairable items in accordance with policy, processes and systems encompassing both Forward and Reverse Supply Chain controls for such items.


This role sits between the workshop and I&RM, where you will also be responsible for chasing spares and parts needed by the workshop. You will attend weekly meetings with the workshop and they will advise on any spares issues that need to be resolved.


What do I need to do the role?


You will have good communication skills, strong IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems.


You will also have experience in an administration role. Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, as would some knowledge of supply chain.


SAP knowledge and knowledge of military vehicles would also be desirable.


What else do I need to know?


The working hours for this role are 37 per week; 8 hrs Monday – Thursday and 5 on a Friday therefore an early finish for the weekend, you will also benefit from flexible start and finish times.
