We are looking for a highly organized and enthusiastic business professional to take on the role of Senior Supply Chain Analyst to work as part of a team integral in the delivery of supply chain processes.

 

The individual will have strong analytical skills as they will be responsible for managing multiple categories that involve complex pricing and high volumes. The person should be able to look through numbers to spot anomalies, see trends and analyze performance.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Be responsible for analyzing, planning and creating statistical forecast models for inventory levels.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports pertaining to the supply chain planning process.
  • Develop business intelligence dashboards for management reporting.
  • Develop and improve reporting processes for the material management function.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding improvements in the supply chain.
  • Be responsible for daily maintenance, data analysis and interface integrity between forecasting and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Procurement and Inventory modules in IFS (ERP) and drive business process improvements.

 

As our ideal candidate, you have:

 

Experience

  • 4+ years’ experience in business data and reporting analysis
  • Experience in inventory optimization, forecasting demand planning, and/or supply chain planning & analysis
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience in the following Supply Chain ERP modules: Material Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory Planning, Supplier and Contract Master Data (considered an asset)
  • Experience in supply chain process optimization and other transformation initiatives (considered an asset)

 

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and/or qualifications) in Business Administration or in a related field
  • Supply Chain Management Association (SMCA) or American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification such as Certification in Production and Inventory Management or an equivalent professional qualification (considered an asset)

 

Software Skills

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Power BI or other Business Intelligence software (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Access and SQL (considered an asset)
  • Knowledge of a programming language (e.g. VBA) (considered an asset)

 

Soft Skills

  • Experience in a matrix organization
  • Excellent analytical thinking skills
  • Business acumen and leadership skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management experience
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
