In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate queries with regards to ERP entries and invoice backups
  • Support project forecasting activities
  • Convert billings forecasts into cost and profit forecasts
  • Financial inputs to Quarterly Contract Reviews (QCRs)
  • Support the upkeep of technical accounting papers (IFRS 15)
  • Calculate and provide accruals to Finance
  • Audit support (of Babcock and subcons)
  • Process Subcontractor invoices, perform checks and gain approvals
  • Review and attest subcontractor invoicing schedules
  • Track and ensure supplier purchase order cover is appropriate
  • Work with procurement to ensure supplier invoices are received in time for monthly deadlines
  • Support customer invoicing
  • Customer invoice reconciliations
  • Produce Billing Summaries & Progress Billings reports
  • Support improvement projects as required



The ideal candidate brings:


  • You hold a post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a project accounting or financial role
  • You have an understanding of cost control and project management processes
  • You have intermediate to advanced Excel skills, good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (experience utilizing IFS is an asset)
  • You are able to plan, prioritise and deliver to firm deadlines
  • You are able to create and maintain strong relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality results in a timely manner
  • Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date
  • You are eligible for Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearances
