In this role, you will:


  • Be identifying, reviewing and extracting of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) deliverables from completed work folders
  • Maintain Configuration Live File databases for all west coast Victoria Class Submarines
  • Ensure that First Level policies and processes are adhered to in the support of the maintenance of the Quality Assurance Live File
  • Ensure the accuracy of all data to support the hard copy and digital Quality Assurance Live File
  • Provide specialist assistance and guidance to relevant stakeholders to resolve First Level (FL) queries / concerns
  • Support Internal and External Audit activities
  • Respond to discrete contracted taskings in support of Customer requirements


The ideal candidate brings:

  • A minimum of three (3) years with submarine First Level and related Objective Quality Evidence or similar relevant experience
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Adobe Pro)
  • Proven proficiency working with DRMIS (SAP)
  • Certified as an Engineering Technologist through an appropriate professional body, such as Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of  British Columbia (ASTTBC), or able to become certified within 18 months from hiring
  • You have the ability to review and interpret technical and systems drawings and provide advice as required
  • Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills with keen attention to detail
  • You are able to work under minimal supervision and can readily shift priorities in a complex environment
  • Familiarity and experience with industrial material management, such as Department of National Defence (DND) materiel and goods, or equivalent experience
  • Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date
  • You are eligible for Canadian NATO Secret Security, Canadian Controlled Goods (CCG) and ITAR Clearance
