In this role, you will:


  • Prepare and maintain schedules for activities and events, taking account of dependencies and resource requirements, including provision of risk analysis on schedules
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project structures (work breakdown structure / organization breakdown structure / resource breakdown structure / cost breakdown structure) consistent with project targets, objectives and commitments to the customer
  • Develop, baseline and maintain the project integrated schedule (Level 1-3) such that resources can be committed efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure alignment between the integrated scheduling toolset and the company’s financial and material demand toolset, including alignment of any Level 4/5 schedules
  • Produce regular status updates of the integrated schedule as well as provide metrics and schedule analysis of the impact to the project
  • Produce resource and cost loaded schedules and provide financial status of the project to inform the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
  • Provide services to conduct time risk analysis on second level schedules in line with key program review points
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project control measures and metrics to demonstrate schedule adherence and continual performance improvement
  • Support the Earned Value Management (EVM) process and procedure
  • Produce and circulate schedule risk analysis updates monthly, including key milestones and status against targets and objectives as well as informing the baseline
  • Carrying out critical path analysis of the integrated schedule on a regular basis, circulating management information to inform project resources
  • Other duties as deemed necessary and reasonable


Our ideal candidate will:


  • Have knowledge of the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK)
  • Have 3+ years’ experience in management of schedules for multi-disciplined projects, including Earned Value (EV) and critical path analysis and management
  • Have experience in a PMO environment on multiple projects of varying types and project cycle phases
  • Have proficient knowledge of contract management, and project management techniques
  • Have experience in preparing and maintaining schedules of projects and/or programme activities and events (taking account of dependencies and resource requirements)
  • Have experience in gathering independent evidence and determining what information from projects and/or programmes is valid
  • Have proficient knowledge of scheduling toolsets and methodologies, schedule management, resource management, and consolidated planning in complex situations
  • Have experience in establishing critical paths and monitoring of these in complex situations
  • Have proficient knowledge of timescale risk analysis technique
  • Eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
