In this role, you will:

  • Assist in the development and deployment of the Babcock Business Management System - Marine.
  • Undertake Quality Assurance support activities for the delivery of the Marine sector of the business, including both customers and suppliers.
  • Through a combination of job records inspection, analysis, and audit processes, review documentation to ensure full compliance with Babcock Canada’s Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Support and direct on the development and release of the new processes, procedures and forms in support of Babcock Canada Business Management System.
  • Maintain and update Marine Quality Assurance department documents and actively participate in updating/revision process.
  • Assist with internal and external related audits as required and also audit external vendors.
  • Produce Non-Compliance Reports and assist in management of Findings and OFIs.
  • Other duties as required


The ideal candidate brings:


  • You have certification in ISO 9001: 2015 Quality, with a minimum 2-4 years’ experience in Quality Management systems.
  • Experience as process auditor is an asset, including from other areas of industry.
  • You have detail-oriented, strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and can maintain confidentiality.
  • Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning that you must have received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the Government of Canada with the final dose at least 14 days prior to your start date
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
