In this role, you will:

 

  • Utilize project management skills and experience to manage marine services projects involving construction, maintenance, or repair of marine vessels, or related asset management.
  • Be responsible for contract management including development of proposals, contracts, and tasks as well as negotiation of scope and schedule.
  • Monitor performance and reporting to meet internal and client requirements, including earned value and efficiency measures applicable to each project.
  • Be the client interface including travel to client locations as required.
  • Provide leadership and personnel management of dedicated resources for the duration they are assigned to a project.
  • Provide leadership and coordination of remote or matrix resources.
  • Perform problem solving and implement improvements to increase efficiency and client satisfaction.

 

As our ideal candidate,

 

  • You have a minimum 7 + years of experience in a project management role with two (2) years current experience (within the last five years) working in a similar role
  • You have a strong aptitude in client satisfaction
  • You are a self-directed individual
  • You are comfortable managing concurrent projects that vary widely in content and requirement
  • You have a background in marine maintenance, engineering services, or ship design/ modelling/ CAD
  • Must have or be eligible for a Canadian Secret Security Clearance
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security
