About the role

Here at Babcock International we opened up a post for a Vehicle Mechanic at our Tidworth site. The successful candidate will report into the Supervisor and they will work in a busy team of c/ 15 Mechanics. The main purpose of the role is to inspect, service and repair a range of Army vehicles from quads all the way to tanks. The successful candidate will also ensure that all job transactions are accurate recorded. It’ll be important to make sure that all health and safety regulations are met and to ensure that all tools and workshop equipment are maintained.

What do I need to do the role?

You will hold minimum of an NVQ, RQF or VRQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as well as previous experience with light vehicles and heavy vehicle or heavy goods vehicle experience.

We are happy to consider candidates from military as well as commercial background.


What else do I need to know?

• The successful candidate must be willing to go through a SC clearance.
• This role offers a four day week, from Mon-Thu.
• All tools and PPE are provided by the employer.
