External Provision Assistant

About the role

Here at Babcock International we opened up a post for a External Provision Assistant at our Southwark site supporting the contract we provide for the London Fire Brigade. The successful candidate will report into the External Provision Manager and they will work alongside another colleague doing the same role. The main purpose of the role is to book training providers, venues, equipment and other course related consumable items linked to training the LFB supplies to its employees. The post holder will involved wtih the admin side that goes with it: raising purchase orders requisitions and coordinating payment process to suppliers. The successful candidate will liaise closely with multiple stakeholders on a daily basis such as suppliers, Accounts Payable, Business Managers and more. 

What do I need to do the role?

Previous experience working in administration, working with customers and suppliers. You’ll be a dynamic individual with excellent relationship building skills and superb organisational skills. Moreover, you’ll have “customer first” mentality and you’ll remain positive and professional whilst dealing with potentially challenging situations.
