The role

As a Signalling Installer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Babcock supports Network Rail and other rail industry customers in providing a safe, reliable and efficient rail network across the UK.

Day to day, you’ll help with the installation of signalling equipment across the railway lines in Northern Ireland.

Train Protection Warning Systems and Automatic Warning Systems
Service and repair
Reactive troubleshooting
Assisting new location cases

Essential experience of the Signalling Installer:

Experience in Signalling and Telecoms
IRSE Licence
Undertaken Technical signalling courses

This role is on a roster of 140 hours over 4 weeks and your hours will vary within this. There is a roster premium paid as well as time and a half for any overtime.

Qualifications for the Signalling Installer:

IRSE Licence
Signalling modules SMTH, Mod 3C, Mod 5 desirable.
TSC desirable.
