This Avionics Supervisor role is based within our Aviation business area. Our Aviation business helps defend nations, save lives and protect communities through innovative delivery of critical and vital aviation services to the civil and defence sectors. The role

The difference our new Avionics Supervisor will make
As a Avionics Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working with a dedicated team of engineers, you will ensure that a range of Royal Airforce aircrafts are ready for storage. 

Day to day, you’ll prepare a range of RAF aircrafts for storage, sale and/or disposal. Carry out in storage maintenance across the fleet and complete any additional tasks as directed by the AMSU manager or their deputy.

Essential experience

•    Formal avionics aircraft engineering training for trade with formal certification.
•    MoD Hawk ‘T Mk1 Q’ course or equivalent.
•    Extensive aviation experience
•    Demonstrable experience working on fast jet aircraft. 
•    Significant experience in a supervisory role (You must be able to hold authorisation up to a 3rd signatory level).
