The Role
As a Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Project Manager will take accountability for the delivery of a number of projects both nationally and internationally, including organic growth and support to exploitation of new market opportunities. 

The Project Manager will work closely with the Business Development team, to gain experience and understanding of forecasted opportunities at the earliest stage and build stakeholder and customer engagement.

Day-to-day, you’ll: 

• Take overall accountability for the successful delivery of a number of projects to a range customers within agreed timescales and budgets and to the specified quality. 
• Build and maintain constructive working relationships both within Babcock and with key customer points of contact. 
• Take accountability for timely and accurate reporting of management information both within the business and to the customers. 
• Ensure that the delivery team understand overall cost / time / quality requirements and remain co-ordinated in their approach to delivering the overall contracted scope of work.

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based in Busan, South Korea with hybrid working arrangements. 

Essential Experience of the Project Manager

• Project management experience and preferably defence industry experience in a setting of comparable complexity and requiring a similar set of transferrable skills. 
• A robust background in project controls, project governance and complex engineering procurement. 
• Experience in business winning activity, ideally including pipeline management, pricing, internal governance procedures, bidding / proposal development.

Qualifications for the Project Manager

• Educated to degree level in an applicable and transferrable discipline - or equivalent.
• APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) – or equivalent – or willing to study towards.
• Business level English – will be assessed at interview.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain National Security Vetting (NSR) security clearance for this role.
