Workshop Electrician

Ruislip or Woolwich

 

About the role

Here at Babcock we are looking to recruit an Auto Electrician on a permanent, full time basis.

 

You will be based in Ruislip with occasional travel to work elsewhere in London.

 

You will maintain and repair electrical systems on vehicles (predominantly Mercedes-based) Fire Engines and support vehicles. This role involves planned and Reactive Maintenance and support with other electrical equipment.
 

What else do I need to know?

 

We are ideally looking for:

  • Experience in servicing and repairing HGVs/LGVs
  • Experience of managing issues effectively via telephone
  • Experience of working with others and a team player
  • Experience of working remotely / providing a support service remotely
  • Experience of supervising a team
