2nd Line IT Support

About you

You will enjoy the opportunity to collaborate in a team support environment whilst providing second line technical support through Service Levels and Key Performance Indicators. You will have a strong customer resolution focus, exceptional people skills and the ability to fault find, problem solve and work effectively in a service delivery environment.

 

About the role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager and based at the Garden Island Defence base in Potts Point NSW, you will become a central contact for maintenance, support and implementation of desktop environments at a second line level. This will include fault fixing, answering calls, swapping out of equipment and fulfilling requests as part of a wider Desktop support team across the Babcock International Group.

 

This is a permanent full time position, with career growth and pathway options available.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Degree (or working towards completion) in Information Technology or similar
  • Australian Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level
  • Previous experience working in a service delivery environment with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Experience providing 2nd line support to users in Windows 10 environment
  • Customer solution focus with the ability to resolve queries relating to PC’s, laptops, printers, LAN, VC, mobile phones and other IT systems
  • Confident people skills and flexible can-do attitude
  • Efficient time management
