Training Solutions Manager

Here at Babcock international we currently have the opportunity for a Training Solutions Manager based in lakeside, Portsmouth.

The post will report to the Head of Bids and will work closely with key stakeholders, contract managers and individuals within the bid team, Emergency Services and Training business and LAND Sector in the successful delivery of our win strategy activities by planning, designing and delivering innovative learning solutions to meet customer requirements.

The successful candidate will develop and design training solutions across a broad range of contracting models, for example Managed Learning Services, Apprenticeship delivery, L&D outsource.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution development and stimulate creativity from the team and wider business
• Lead internal reviews of technical solution with SMEs
• Ensure the solution is compliant to the client’s requirements


What do I need to do the role?
You must have prior experience within the Training Industry showing a deep knowledge and understanding of the sector and innovations. We would also like you to hold all or some of the following:
• Understanding of different training operating models and associated supporting infrastructure (eg, apprenticeships, managed learning services).
• Demonstrable experience in a senior operational or L&D role


What else do I need to know?
