About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Bid Writer.


The main purpose of your role is write business proposals for civil training and apprenticeships.


Major Tasks and Activities:
• To ensure the production of first class text, documents and proposals for strategic, and where required, non-strategic opportunities
• To manage a bid calendar in support of bid activity.
• To provide a professional writing service to the Business Development function working closely with SMEs from all disciplines
• To provide support for sales and marketing propositions and bid management
• To prepare written documentation including:
Expressions of Interest; responses to Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Invitations To Tender and Invitations To Negotiate; Invitation to Submit an Outline Solution (ISOS), case studies; web page text and written publicity material


What do I need to do the role?

You’ll need experience writing business proposals – for corporate and public sector and stakeholder engagement with internal and external customers to obtain important business information to write a bid.

• The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
