About the role


Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit a Bid Manager within our Equipment & Training Support (E&TS) business to drive growth in our markets through the delivery of high quality capture and bid management activity across training services contracts.


This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role understanding customer requirements in order to develop win themes, value propositions and differentiators. You’ll manage and lead the development and implementation of winning bid strategies and solutions that are aligned to client requirements including developing clear and well written proposals.


You will take the lead on the bid management to develop the technical, commercial and financial solution that are compliant with/deliver client requirements with the relevant subject matter experts, managing the full bid lifecycle – tracking through to submission.


This is a highly rewarding position working within a market leading organisation that will give you the opportunity to develop your skills and experience across a variety of nuclear projects. We support UK and international clients with a range of services and strive to be best in class across our various contracts.


What do I need to do the role?


You’ll need a strong Bid Management Background, ideally proven Bid Management activity within a Learning development and Training services sector preferred although, other sectors will be considered.


Would also like you to hold experience in all or some of the following:


- Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to create effective Bid proposal presentations
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Bid Management qualification would be an advantage e.g. APMP - Association of Proposal Management Professionals


What else do I need to know?


The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
