To support the Surface Combatants programme. To manage PGMU stores and be responsible for mechanical system control, working with the SSE(M), shop controller and WIW controller to carry out two weekly audits of systems and update documentation. Ensure updated drawings are visible throughout the project. To produce documentation in support of MASM throughout the project. To manage PVR and Flexi Hose Register. Provide support to production and assist with defect management ahead of commissioning


What will you be doing?
It is the responsibility of the post holder to comply with all the requirements of the company Safety Manual any Company or Local Procedures and any Company initiatives to improve Safety.


Any task that requires the supervision of Industrial or Non-Industrial Staff must include a review of their competence to carry out any allocated work.  This is also linked to the industrial and non-industrial appraisal process.
Take responsibility for the control of PGMU Stores, conducting regular audits of spares and reporting any issues as they arise
To work with SSE(M), Shop Controller and WIW controller to ensure system status is known. M systems to include; HPSW, LPSW, FW, CW, HP Air, LP Air, Forced Lub, Lub Oil, Fuel, Bilge & Sullage,  
To produce documentation in support of MASM
To work alongside DTO in advance of commissioning activity to identify, report and assist to rectify defects and issues prior to IC
To ensure supporting documentation for system checks is in place to allow for system commissioning. Collation of CofCs, DI Measurement, Survey reports, Test certification and QA documentation. as required by task
To manage PVR and Flexi Hose Register
To assist the Senior Support Engineer (SSE) with estimating VOs and carrying out surveys when required.
Submit Estimate Variance forms and check progress on future platforms.
Capture lessons to inform Learning from Experience (LFE) for continuous improvement.

ONC or equivalent level, in an Engineering / Business / Technical Subject or as determined by the Project Services Manager due to previous relevant experience
