About the role

 

Here at Babcock International, Plymouth we’re looking to recruit a Service Desk Team Leader to join our new 1st line support team working at our Devonport site.

As a Service Desk Team Leader, you’ll lead, develop and motivatre a team of 1st line support Service Desk Analysts who will undertake 1st line support tasks, serving internal Babcock teams with their 1st line issues and escalating to 2nd line as and when required. You will encourage them to meet agreed service levels and provide exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

You will ensure the team achieves their targets for quality and call handling and assist in peak times or when additional expertise is required. You will ensure your team have all the training they nees to enable them to demonstrate great customer service and maintain a high degree of technical knowledge.  

And as you’re supporting our business we’ll be supporting you. We offer excellent benefits, facilities and amenities. The core hours are 9am-3:30pm but you can start as early as 7:30am and finish as late as 5:30pm to help you beat the traffic and afford you a better work / life balance.

What do I need to do the role?

With proven Service / Help Desk / Customer Service Experience in a team management/ leader position,  you will have worked 'hands on' in a call volume environment. Knowledge of Windows 7 & 10, Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Assistance/Desktop, and Server Infrastructure
