Here at Babcock International we have the opportunity for a Senior Supplier Development Engineer to support the execution of the Supplier Development Process and Program on behalf of Babcock Marine and Nuclear Sectors.
Within this role the successful candidate will lead the Supplier Development relationships allocated to your portfolio, managing and meeting the expectations of Supplier, Internal and 3rd Party stakeholders.
A vital part of this role will be supplier relationship management along with supporting improvement projects and the ongoing enhancement of supplier processes and strategies

What you must have:
We require you to have a good understanding of Lean & Continuous improvement techniques along with either a degree in a relevant subject or Apprenticeship.
We would also like you to hold all or some or all of the following:
• Experience in Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and/or Manufacturing environments with deep knowledge of Supplier, QA, Operational Management techniques.
• Broad knowledge and experience of management processes (Manufacturing, Engineering or Service related).
• Project Management skills / techniques (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).
• SC21 Assessment Practitioner / Lead Practitioner preferred
