Main Purpose of Role:

•    To provide project management support in delivery of the package to time/cost/quality.
•    Assisting the technical and project teams in development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific work packages.
•    Translate supply chain reporting into useable data to inform planning, monitoring and control of work packages.
•    Provide input to cost and budget monitoring.
•    Develop stakeholder management and communications plans.
•    Contribute to the risk process including the identification, assessment, planning and implementation of risks, opportunities and issues.

Examples of 10 Dock systems being delivered within the Mechanical Handling Systems packages: Load moving systems (conveyancing / cargo lifts), Pillar cranes / davits, Load bearing logistic routes and Brows and Saddles.

What do I need to do the role?
You’ll need experience working within a project delivery environment, an awareness of APM competencies and experience of reading programmes, taking minutes and putting together project reports of a high standard.

Would also like you to hold experience in the following:

•    HNC / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
•    APM project management qualification (or equivalent).
•    IOSH (desirable).

What else do I need to know?
•    The successful candidate will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving ‘Security Check’ (SC) clearance.
•    We are happy to talk about flexible working. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview.
