The vast knowledge you’ll build with these experiences will equip you with some of the most in-demand skills right now, and with our support and structured training – not to mention many rewarding tasks – you’ll gain all the knowledge, skills and experience you need to be one of the best.  So think about it.  You can build a real future here.

A Higher Level Business Apprenticeship in Finance is a three year programme where you will work gaining essential skills, knowledge and experience for your future career. As well as work place experience the Apprenticeship will also give you qualifications relevant to the area of the business you are working within.

The next apprenticeship scheme will commence on Monday 6th September 2021.

Once you’ve been successfully accepted we will provided you with on the job learning with formal training to gain experience and knowledge within your chosen career. From day one we will assign you a mentor that understands your business area and can mentor you through your 3 year development programme. Together with the direction of your line manager and support from our Early Careers team you will be given the opportunity to work on interesting projects, meet key stakeholders in the business, and deliver real outputs that will make a difference. If you are looking for an apprenticeship that gives you responsibility, the chance to progress, and the chance to work for an international organisation in Plymouth that focuses their work on the Defence sector, then the Higher Level Business Apprenticeship may interest you.

With annual revenue of over £5.2bn in 2019, it’s fair to say our finances need just as much expertise as our projects.
